Demonstration sites were selected at four locations:
- Advisory Committee for the Healthy Baby and Me program in Miramichi City, NB; Committee members are drawn from the community and represent various professions and areas of expertise. They work together to direct and guide the delivery of a program to people living in the geographic area – Click here to view the site report;
- Maternal/Child clinic at St. Martha’s Hospital in Antigonish, NS; the clinic staff of health professionals deliver maternal child care to the geographic area – Click here to view the site report;
- Obstetrical Clinic at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre, Gander NL: family physicians and nurse practitioners provide maternal child care to a population of rural communities – Click here to view the site report;
- Victorian Order of Nurses (VON) New Brunswick: program facilitators from eleven separate locations coordinate activities for the Healthy Baby and Me program, with and for people who live in a number of geographic areas – Click here to view the site report.
