Subject: CEWS – Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy.
Beginning April 27, applications will be open for the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy.
- Most businesses may apply using My Business Account
- If you represent a business, you may apply using Represent a Client
- Alternatively, you may apply using a separate online application form (available April 27)
The CEWS will be processed at the payroll program (RP) account level, so you will have to file a separate application for each RP account.
If you have already submitted your 10% subsidy you still must apply for the 75% and the 10% will be accounted to your 75%.
Earlier this week I attended a webinar explaining details of the subsidy which was very helpful. Here is the link to the copy of the webinar. You will be asked to submit your name, email, phone and number of employees in your company. Once you click submit you have access to the recorded webinar.
