Filling Labour Gaps through Immigration in the Health Care Sector:
Nova Scotia Labour, Skills and Immigration in partnership with the Nova Scotia Health Care Human Resources Sector Council and the Health Association of Nova Scotia
Learn how immigration helps employers fill Continuing Care Assistant positions in the Health Care Sector. Representatives of the Immigration and Population Growth Branch with Labour, Skills and Immigration will provide an overview of immigration programs, including the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP). The presentation will review the CCA in LTC occupation and discuss other positions including Residential Care Worker and CCA – Home Support Worker. Application processes, international recruitment opportunities and sources of skilled workers will also form part of the presentation.
